Northeaster Narrowboat

The Northeaster Narrowboat project is based at Thurmaston and is fully equipped for groups of upto 12 people (including leaders) to use for evening, full day or residential trips.

The close residential quarters of the narrowboat is almost unique in youth work and users have demonstrated that this project can be a source of innovative development work for their group. The project is a valuable, stimulating and exciting experience for young people and the 11 berth narrowboat (12 for day trips) is available for hire for up to 14 days at a time. The only requirement is that the leaders undergo a training course before hiring the boat. For shorter evening or day cruises, the project may be able to provide a skipper.

Prices start from just £30 for an evening trip.
