WWF's Earth Hour 2010
WWF's Earth Hour is designed to show the world that our environment is important and deserves looking after. The idea is that at 8.30pm on 27 March lights are switched off. WWF will be encouraging greater participation by asking people to "sign up to switch off" and help safeguard our natural world by tackling climate change now, before it's too late.WWF are providing free resources and programme ideas for companies to take part in, from learning about climate change and its effects on polar games to games in the dark. To sign up and receive your free resource pack go to http://earthhour.wwf.org.uk/ and look for communities. Details taken from January edition of the BB Gazette. |
